Our objective is to offer to anyone interested in the world of art, the information to view, contact and meet artists working in the province of Girona.

ARTISTAEN.COM opens its doors to those artists, whatever their nationality, who work in the province of Girona.

The idea has taken shape after many years as professionals in the art world, and in response to new technologies and market needs:

- Artists need to diffuse their work: “what we don’t know doesn’t exist”. The internet has made this diffusion possible and displays their work, but in order to truly communicate it is beneficial to actually meet the artist.

- The existence of a new buyer who uses the internet and reaches art by non traditional means.

- The use of networking as another possibility for the artist to increase his/her contacts.

- The power of a group of artists not only to display an ample variety of artwork but also to diffuse it more cost effectively.

- The existence of an increase in cultural tourism interested in art, but until now has not had the possibility of knowing artists, their work or their place of work because they could not easily be localized.
