Opinions and Art crítics:
"Light, the untiring builder.
The photograph registers the visible world. But a photograph, at the same time, is
always a metaphor of the invisible, of that which remains hidden by the superficial
glance, the impartiality that accompanies daily existence. In this sense, we can say that
photography is the combination of 2 things: the reality of light; and the intention of that
glance. Shelley Hill scrutinizes the visible landscape and discovers a metaphoric
invisibility; interiors illuminated artificially and artificial exteriors in which natural light
converts to landscapes. Her works are profoundly dialectic, visible images of our world
which, above all, aim to perforate the surface of reality.
Eudald Camps
“Her art intersects technology and aesthetics, creating images of balance and tension between sky and earth, spirit and body.” Janet Pagano
